هيئة التقييس لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية هيئة إقليمية تضم في عضويتها أجهزة التقييس الوطنية في الدول الأعضاء ، ومن مهام الهيئة إعداد المواصفات القياسية واللوائح الفنية الخليجية بواسطة لجان فنية متخصصة.
قرر المجلس الفني لهيئة التقييس لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية في الاجتماع الـ (53) بتاريخ 1444/03/14 هـ ،الموافق 2022/10/10م اعتماد ترجمة اللائحة الفنية الخليجية رقم GSO 2577:2021 وعنوانها "بطاقات شراب وعصائر ونكتار الفواكه " إلى اللغة الانجليزية التي تم دراستها ضمن برنامج عمل اللجنة الفنية الخليجية للمواصفات الغذائية والزراعية (TC05) المدرجة في خطة المملكة العربية السعودية . ويعتبر النص العربي هو المرجع الأساس في حال وجود اختلاف بين النصين.

Foreword

GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) is a regional organization which consists of the national standardization bodies of GCC member states. One of GSO main functions is to issue gulf standards and technical regulations through specialized technical committees.
GSO Technical Council in its meeting number (53) held on 14/03/1444 H, which corresponds to 10/10/2022, has approved the translation of Gulf Technical Regulation GSO 2577:2021 titled "Labelling of fruit juices nectars and fruit drinks" in English language which was studied through the technical program of GSO Technical Committee for Food and Agricultural Products (TC05) in SAUDI ARABIA schedule . (Arabic) text is considered the official text in case of any conflicts between the two.

Labelling of fruit juices nectars and fruit drinks

1 Scope

1.1 The purpose of this regulation is to highlight the mandatory labelling requirements of the products contained in clause 1.2.
1.2 This regulation shall apply to all labels of the following products and similar products.
1.2.1 Fruit juice.
1.2.2 Fruit juice from concentrate.
1.2.3 Concentrated fruit juice.
1.2.4 Water extracted fruit juice.
1.2.5 Fruit puree.
1.2.6 Fruit nectar.
1.2.7 Fruit drink.
1.2.8 Concentrated fruit drink.
1.2.9 Drink (Flavored artificial drink powders).
1.2.10 Flavored artificial drinks.

3 Definitions

3.1 In addition to the listed definitions in the regulation mentioned in clause 2.4:
3.2
Label:
Any label, mark, pictorial, or written descriptive matter, whether printed, stuck, or impressed on the food container or attached to it, in such a way as not to be removable.
3.3
Pack:
Any substance in which a foodstuff is prepackaged to be delivered for sale as a separate individual unit, whether by completely or partially wrapping the food. It may enclose several units or types of wrappings when such is offered to the consumer.
3.4
The front label panel (the principal display panel or alternate PDP):
Is that portion of the package label that is most likely to be seen by the consumer at the time of purchase. Many containers are designed with two or more different surfaces that are suitable for display as the PDP. These are alternate PDPs.
3.5
The Information Panel:
The information panel is the label panel immediately to the right of the PDP, as displayed to the consumer. If this panel is not usable due to package design and construction (e.g. folded flaps), then the information panel is the next label panel immediately to the right.
3.6
Fruit flavored artificial drink powders:
A product made from one or more of artificial, natural, or identical natural fruit flavorings with some permitted additive substances. When mixed with water or (water and sugar), it produces a drink resembling fruit juice.
3.7
Flavored artificial drinks:
A drink made of water and sugar, and one or more artificial or identical natural flavorings. Additives are added to make a drink similar to natural juice.
